Sabetty Heyaime was born in Venezuela, and grew up in Miami, Fl. She is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator in NYC. Sabetty earned her BFA from New World School of the Arts, and a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been exhibited nationwide.
Her artwork delves into the themes of liminality, the ambiguity of play, force versus consent, and self-discovery. Through this work Sabetty opens conversations which will lessen the stigma around sexual trauma and its effects.
